On November 16, 2008 Progressive Black Men at Howard University (HU) was chartered by eight men, making it the only chapter outside of Florida. The Howard Chapter has become a prominent community service organization on campus in its short existence, conducting community service programs such as the AIDS Walk Washington and the Adopt-A-Block program.
