As we step back for a moment and reminisce about the memories we have shared with
one another, I want us to also speak about what we’ve done. Why we’ve done it, and what we have left to do. This administration strives to keep the general body updated on the progress we’ve made. I also want this administration to be proactive and honest about the pitfalls that may still lie ahead. Most of all, I want every Brother to know that each action we take, and each service we conduct in the community is driven by a larger vision of our communities’ future – a future where we are able to positively impact the next generations to come; a future where our stereotypes are less fueled by misconceptions or media propaganda, but is instead built by intellectual and talented individuals that will promote everlasting growth. This will allow our organization to lead others to the reason why we carry out our mission statement. That is the Progressive Black Man I see. That’s the organization that we begin to prepare so many for. That is the future we can have. Happy Founder’s Day to Progressive Black Men Incorporated.
