In life sometimes people just do things that work out for the good with minimal effort being exerted. Progressive Black Men, Inc. is something that by the name alone requires maximum potential and ability from a collective unit of like-minded individuals in order to flourish. 1989 is the year it all started and here we are a quarter of a century later. Many individuals have worked tirelessly to allow this great accomplishment to be possible. I am proud as well as privileged to have helped create history, stabilize the existence and promote growth of our remarkable organization during my term as National President. I have always had such respect for this organization, because it allows one to truly show what they are made of, as we are still young and actively developing. Each brother once inducted has the ability to inflict change by offering his talent, expertise and time as we strive to carry out our mission daily. This symbolic milestone confirms that none of our work has been in vain. But, now the expectations and challenges will only be greater as we look towards the future existence of PBM. I am confident that we are ready and more than capable of reaching new heights in the years ahead. It is my desire that this special time provides us all with the opportunity to reflect on how we can augment our efforts of the past and present in order to amplify our presence as an organization that exists tomorrow. Let’s remember our purpose and make a positive impact on issues plaguing our community that can be visualized and quantified by those we serve. I am ecstatic about what is in store for us moving forward and I will be 100% committed to assisting with efforts that are put in place by brothers in leadership.
25 years looks great when paired with PROGRESS. Congratulations on our collective success and happy 25th anniversary!
