FAMU Chapter History

FAMU Chapter of Progressive Black Men, Inc. was chartered on October 21, 2000. Since chartering on FAMU Campus these brothers have created programs to include the “Frenchtown Blanket Drive” where we pass out blankets to the homeless during the winter months. We also have started a weekly tutoring session for kids of all ages called “Homework Academy” in partnership with the local alumni chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. We have also participated in the “Build-a-ramp” project several times with Ability First (build ramps for disabled individuals).
