The various chapters of Progressive Black Men Inc. work extremely hard to ensure that their impact in their community is both positive and impactful. Our members annually engage in voter registration, relay for life, and our nationally mandated service week. Along with that, during our annual national conferences all of the members participate in multiple community service events across the area of the host city. The organization has received recognition from these events from mayors, university presidents, and city commissioners.
With that being said, this organization is proud of where we have come and the reputation that we have thus far built. However, we are not satisfied; and are continuously striving to become better community leaders locally where our chapters exist and nationally as we expand. We look forward to having a positive impact on your community in the near future; and hopefully you will join our efforts.
- Inducted over 1,000 young men of color into seven chapters in Florida and Washington DC
- Completed over 50,000 hours of community service and youth initiatives
- Served communities in Tallahassee, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Tampa, Boca Raton, Orlando, Panama City, and Miami, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Tuscaloosa, Alabama; New Orleans, Louisiana; Charlotte, North Carolina; Memphis, Tennessee; Houston, Texas; and the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) Metropolitan Area
